Magnetic Wooden Fishing Game

This is the magnetic wooden fishing game by Petitoy. This game is pretty much whatever you want to make it for different age levels. For younger kids you can have them lay out the letters in order or tell you what the letter is. Then you can have the give a word or animal associated with that letter. They can also be used on the fridge to spell out words, but keep in mind there is only one of each letter in the game same goes for the numbers. Speaking of numbers there are sea animals with numbers on them. You can have your kids as they catch them tell you what number is on the magnet or add the ones that they caught together or tell you what animal is on the magnet. The game comes with two magnetic fishing poles that you can see in the photo.

Also the game comes with a bonus cognition puzzle game. The cards are all double sided and your kids can match the letter to the corresponding animals.

Reading Kingdom is a supplemental program which allows kids to have a fun way to practice their reading and writing skills with fun little games. The program is geared towards kindergarten through third grade. My little sister, Cheyenne, took part in this program. She enjoyed the games that they had and she thought that it helped, but she thought that it would be difficult for really little kids. She also thought that kindergartners would have trouble with the typing part since they tell adults not to help the children. She said that it was pretty easy to follow with their instructions. I liked that they showed that progress that they were making in a report card.
