This is such a great light for if you are going out camping for the weekend. It clips on easily to any object, usually I am clipping this onto a book. During the day you just lay it out in the sunlight to charge again. This also comes in handy if the power goes out at home. I do not like for things that I own to go to waste. I also do not like to have to go out and repurchase the same product that I already own just because the original version of the product is now considered out of date.
