This is such a great light for if you are going out camping for the weekend. It clips on easily to any object, usually I am clipping this onto a book. During the day you just lay it out in the sunlight to charge again. This also comes in handy if the power goes out at home. This works great I have it in my emergency kit in case the power goes out. I gave it a try to test to make sure that it worked properly since I did not want to wait until an actual emergency. The radio works great and I was able to get a reception fairly easily. The light was pretty bright and after some cranking I was able to get enough of a charge to charge my phone from it. This is a great little solar light. We placed this next to the back door. We do not have a key for our front screen door, so in case anyone gets locked out they go to the back door. It is so dark at night that you are fumbling to try and get the door open. We hung this on the side of the house so it would illuminate the door knob and we would be able to get safely inside without waking up the entire house.
