These work great. I have them strategically placed around my house, so that I will not get any more water marks on my furniture. The grooves allow the water to collect inside, so that the cup will not get suctioned to the coaster like many of my others in the past have. I like that there are different patterns on each side, but both have grooves so they can be used just the same. The ice cube tray works well. I find that it is easier than others that I have tried because this one you connect together and fill through the holes in the top. This is available on Amazon . They are unfinished and have a wonderful wood smell to them. The condensation soaks into the coaster form your cup or you can wipe it off. I find that it protects my furniture very nicely.
