After the fact that I found out that the side clamps extend when you hit the button in the back I really liked it. It has a good design to it and I like the fact the it is clamped in instead of just holding onto the tension from the spring. The issue that I found is more with how it holds onto my car's vent. Since the vent is able to be tilted up or down, when it's attached it will kind of just hang and tilt to the ground.
