I've played song ping-pong. My bf plays ping pong. Plus beer and you have a great time. I like the paddle. It's professional looking it's not oversized and clunky and heavy like what you'd expect a little kid to carrying around, though they could use it. Here kid, play for real. It's like giving a kid a regular sized basketball hey they all gotta pick one up eventually. You get good control with it, I managed to knock over a few cans opposite the room with it. My bf said it's a solid piece, "I like it." If he thought it sucked he would have said so. He's like forrest Gump with it though, if Captain Dan would have been been there I would have been nearly convinced, just don't tell him I said so. Great paddle. Not for chumps. A grade higher.
