I do a lot of cooking and baking. With these oven mitts I don't have to worry about dropping things because they have a non-slip grip. Also they are water resistant, so I don't have to worry about burning myself if I get them wet. I also like that the mitts are a little longer than normal ones because I always seem to burn my arm when pulling items out of the oven.
