Healthy Wiser: pH strips

These pH test strips are to test your saliva and urine. You may ask "why would I test my pH level?" The answer is simple a pH of 7.0+ means that you are healthy and are less likely to get sick.

My boyfriend loves these. He tests his pH levels 2+ times a day. He aims to keep it around a 7.0, usually it is around a 6.5-6.75, so he's getting there. I haven't become to obsessed with these like he has, but they are fun to use.

Reading Kingdom

Reading Kingdom is a supplemental program which allows kids to have a fun way to practice their reading and writing skills with fun little games. The program is geared towards kindergarten through third grade. My little sister, Cheyenne, took part in this program. She enjoyed the games that they had and she thought that it helped, but she thought that it would be difficult for really little kids. She also thought that kindergartners would have trouble with the typing part since they tell adults not to help the children. She said that it was pretty easy to follow with their instructions. I liked that they showed that progress that they were making in a report card. The card lays out how they are doing in various sections of the program, so you and your child has an idea on what they can improve on in the future as they continue to follow this program.
