This hat is lightweight and is constructed from a woven material. I love the turquoise beads and braided cording. I feel like that brought the whole hat together for me. I wanted to get a cowboy hat for so long now and when I found this it was meant to be. Now I can't wait for summer, so I can wear it to the beach. These are working great. They were easy to install and I feel safe with my cousins being in the living room without it falling on them.
