Holiday Specs: Plastic 3D Glasses

These are so cool for kids of all ages. I'm thinking of buying more now for stocking stuffers. These holographic glasses make any light bulb's light turn into the shape that is on the front of the glasses. This one makes them all look like snowflakes. I can't wait to look at my Christmas tree with them on. They were a little stretched wearing them on me, but kids would have no problems wearing them.

Reading Kingdom

Reading Kingdom is a supplemental program which allows kids to have a fun way to practice their reading and writing skills with fun little games. The program is geared towards kindergarten through third grade. My little sister, Cheyenne, took part in this program. She enjoyed the games that they had and she thought that it helped, but she thought that it would be difficult for really little kids. She also thought that kindergartners would have trouble with the typing part since they tell adults not to help the children. She said that it was pretty easy to follow with their instructions. I liked that they showed that progress that they were making in a report card. The card lays out how they are doing in various sections of the program, so you and your child has an idea on what they can improve on in the future as they continue to follow this program.
