These work great for our workout shoes. I like that they are black so you do not have to worry about them getting dirty. They are easy to activate by laying them out in the sun for an hour or two once a month. I had gotten this pair especially for my boyfriend's leather sneakers. He never wears socks with these sneakers and they smell horrible but they are his favorite pair that he wears everywhere. They fit nicely inside of a sneaker. Sometimes if there are a bunch of shoes I just have a few of these laying in the closet to take care of the general smell of all of the shoes. I do not think it does as well of a job as using it on a solo shoe, but it works better then nothing.
